Thursday Pickin’ Season V Week 9

Well, it’s Bama week again friends. State at Bama. Two undefeateds come in. One goes out. No, TB ain’t delusional. I know my team’s chances of victory are slim at best. But hey, I’ll take it. Last I heard, they still gotta play the game. And as the saying goes…..you never know….

What I do know is TB won my POTW last week and went 3-2 on bonus picks to move my records to 4-3-1 and 19-21 on the year. The MTGU stumbled to 12-16 on POTWs and 18-31 on bonus picks, falling to 109-105 and 259-274. A big part of the problem was the return of big ed who turned in a POTW loser and went a dismal 0-4 on bonus picks. Sweet won the week with a POTW winner and a 5-0 slate on bonus picks. Tiny D and Irvine Redd got the music bonus and five extra points went out to Pitalo and Folly Jon for picking the biggest Dog o’ the Week, Duke. I’m adding points for biggest DOTW as a mid-season twist to the UCBMoLFSS. Shoutout but no points to SDog for hitting a less doggish DOTW.
